IDC5 BIKE software update version 33.0.0
The BIKE update 33 offers numerous new developments and technical contents that, along with the constant improvements and evolutions of the IDC5 software, guarantee a uniquely complete, top-notch solution to bike repairers worldwide with a diagnostic coverage of 98 makes and over 2800 models.
Significant are the many new features on historic makes such as APRILIA, BENELLI, BETAMOTOR, BMW, BROUGH SUPERIOR, CF MOTO, DUCATI, FANTIC MOTOR, FB MONDIAL, HARLEY-DAVIDSON, HONDA, KEEWAY, KYMCO, MOTO GUZZI, MOTO MORINI, MV AGUSTA, PIAGGIO, ROYAL ENFIELD, STELS, SUZUKI, VESPA, YAMAHA, YAMAHA MARINE.
We wish to highlight that the following manufacturers have chosen the IDC5 multibrand software and
TEXA’s VCIs as the official tool (OEM) or their authorized service centers: MV AGUSTA, BENELLI, BETAMOTOR, BROUGH SUPERIOR, MGK HELLENIC MOTOR, KEEWAY ITALIA, BIMOTA, SYM ITALIA, SWM, FANTIC MOTOR, MASH ITALIA, MOTO MORINI, and VERVE MOTO. We believe that this is a great advantage also for independent workshops and proof of the product’s quality, without forgetting that TEXA is also the OEM supplier of the official DUCATI tool.
Besides the new features just described, the database has also been updated, an added value to the BIKE software. Over 100 new wiring diagrams have been included, along with numerous technical sheets and over 500 guided diagnosis/ nominal value sheets. In particular for the makes HARLEY DAVIDSON, HONDA, KAWASAKI, SUZUKI e YAMAHA.
Below only a small part of all the developments introduced with this version is listed, divided by category.
New Software Feature
BIKE CATEGORY
APRILIA
The complete diagnosis has been included for the vehicles “RSV4” and “Tuono V4” (M.Y. 2019). The diagnosis of the instrumentation produced by “CoBo” has been added for the models “RSV4”, “Tuono V4”, “Dorsoduro” and “SL 900 Shiver” manufactured before 2019. The ABS diagnosis has been included for the model “SR Motard 150”. The ABS and injection diagnosis has been included for the following vehicles: “SX 125” and “RX 125”. The injection diagnosis has been included for the following vehicles: “SR”, “SR Motard 50 e.i.”, “SX 50”, “RX 50”, “RS 50”.
BENELLI*
The diagnosis has been included for the vehicles “502C”, “752S”, “BN125”, “Imperiale 400”, “Leoncino 250”, “Leoncino 500 Trail”, “Tornado Naked T 125”, “TRK 251”, “TRK 502X”.
BETAMOTOR*
The diagnosis and the ECU UPDATE function have been included for all the engine types of the vehicle “RR 4T” for the production years 2019 and 2020.
BMW
The complete diagnosis has been included for the vehicles “F 750 GS (K80)”, “R 1250 GS (K50 - Liquid Cooled)”, “R 1250 GS Adventure (K51 - Liquid Cooled)” and “R 1250 RT (K52 - Liquid Cooled)” manufactured in compliance with the Euro 4 regulation.
BROUGH SUPERIOR*
The ECU UPDATE function has been included for the vehicles “PENDINE SAND RACER”, “SS100 ANNIVERSARY” and “SS100 MK2”.
DUCATI
The coverage has been extended thanks to the introduction of the complete diagnosis for the new vehicles “Monster 821 EU4” (M.Y. 2019), “Monster 1200 EU4” (M.Y. 2019), “Scrambler 1100” (M.Y. 2019), and “Supersport” (M.Y. 2019). The diagnosis, in general, has been improved and enhanced.
FANTIC MOTOR*
The GLOBAL SCAN function has been included for the models “Caballero 125 Flat Track”, “Caballero 125 Scrambler”, “Caballero 250 Flat Track”, “Caballero 250 Scrambler”, “Caballero 500 Flat Track” and “Caballero 500 Scrambler”.
FB MONDIAL
The complete diagnosis has been included for the vehicles “HPS 300”, “SMX 125 Enduro”, “Sport Classic 125”, “Sport Classic 125 ABS”, “Sport Classic 300”.
HARLEY-DAVIDSON
The diagnostic coverage has been extended for the “CVO”, “Softail”, “Touring”, “Trike” series equipped with new Milwaukee-Eight engines. Furthermore, the coverage of the wiring diagrams and guided diagnosis/nominal value sheets has been extended up to 2017.
HONDA
The database has been updated and the diagnostic coverage has been extended and improved up to 2018
(included).
KAWASAKI
The database has been updated and the diagnostic coverage has been extended and improved up to 2019 (included).
KEEWAY**
The database has been updated and the diagnostic coverage has been extended and improved up to 2019 (included).
MOTO GUZZI
The complete diagnosis has been included for the model “V85” manufactured in compliance with the
Euro 5
regulations.
MOTO MORINI*
The vehicles “Corsaro 1200 ZT” and “Milano 1200” have been included along with the related ABS and injection system diagnosis.
MV AGUSTA*
The complete diagnosis has been included for the vehicles “Brutale 1000 ORO”, “Brutale 1000 RR”, “Brutale 800”, “Brutale 800 Dragster RC”, “F3 675” and “F3 675 RC” manufactured starting from 2019.
The GPS device has been added for the models “Turismo Veloce 800 Base”, “Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso”,“Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso RC” and “Turismo Veloce 800 Lusso SCS”.
PIAGGIO
The vehicle “MP3 MAXI FL” has been included along with the related parking, ABS and injection system diagnosis.
ROYAL ENFIELD
The vehicles Continental GT” e “Interceptor” have been included along with the related ABS and injection system diagnosis.
SUZUKI
The database has been updated and the diagnostic coverage has been extended and improved up to 2018
(included).

The ECU UPDATE function has been included for the following models: “Gran Milano 440”, “Gran Turismo 440”, “RS125R”, “RS300R”, “RS500R”, “Silver Vase 440”, “Six Days 440”, “SM125R”, “SM500R” and “SuperDual 650”.

The vehicle “Mule PRO-FX (KAF820)” has been included along with the related injection system diagnosis.

The vehicles “650G Guepard”, “650Y Leopard” and “850G Guepard” have been included along with the related injection system diagnosis.
YAMAHA
The model “Viking” has been included along with the related injection system diagnosis.The diagnostic coverage has been extended for the model “Raptor 700”.

The vehicles “800 Ermak” and “SA800 Vityaz” have been included along with the related injection system diagnosis. Within the IDC5 software, you can check out all these new features in the DOCUMENTATION menu.

New Diagnostic Cables
Starting from the current version, these new cables are available in the BIKE price list:
3151/AP24: Complete VESPA cable for the serial diagnosis of the instrument panel control units for the models produced starting from 2018.
3151/AP57: Complete cable for the serial diagnosis of the make HARLEY-DAVIDSON. The cable is made up of three connectors: one is 4-way (diagnostic connector for the models produced up to 2012), the second is 6-way (diagnostic connector for the models produced starting from 2012) and the third is also 2-way (power supply). In order to carry out a proper diagnosis, only one diagnostic connector must be connected to the motorcycle, based on the model. Instead, the power cable must be connected to the vehicle’s battery only if the tool is not powered by the diagnostic socket.
NOTE: the cable replaces, as a single solution, all the cables produced previously (“3151/AP10”, “3151/AP17”, “3151/AP35”, “AP35/OBD”).
3151/AP58: Complete cable for the serial diagnosis of the vehicles produced starting from 2019 that are compliant with the EURO 5 emission standard.
3151/AP59: Complete cable for the serial diagnosis of the make YAMAHA. The cable is made up by six connectors: one is 4-way (connector for the models with CAN protocol diagnosis), the second and third are 3-way (male and female connectors for the models that require a dual or single connection), the fourth and fifth are probe connectors (male and female probes for the models that require dual or single connection) and the sixth is 2-way (power supply). In order to carry out a proper diagnosis, you must follow the diagnostic tool’s indications thoroughly. If requested to, connect the power clamps to the vehicle’s battery.
NOTE: the cable replaces, as a single solution, all the cables produced previously (“3151/AP40”, “3151/AP47”, “3151/AP49”).
3151/AP60: Complete APRILIA cable for the serial diagnosis of the instrument panel control units for the models produced starting from 2018.
3151/AP61: Complete cable for the serial diagnosis of the make ROYAL ENFIELD, required for the diagnosis of the models produced starting from 2009.
BMW G 450 X (K16) ADAPTER: This adapter is required in order to communicate with the model BMW G 450 X (K16). The adapter (Code 3904606) must be used along with the cable 3151/AP37.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Starting from February 2021, the new IDC5 software versions will no longer support the AXONE 4 tools with a serial number that starts by DA8. The BIKE version 33.0 will be the last one available for the AXONE 4 Mini. Afterwards, no further updates will follow for this device.
